We are happy to announce that data centre marketing advisor specialist Zenab Abbas has joined Touchdown Middle East 2023 as a Speaker and Moderator! Zenab will feature on and chair the panel Women in Infrastructure: A GCC Review and will moderate the panel UAE Regional Hub: Successes & Challenges.
Women in Infrastructure: A GCC Review will take place on Day 1, 21st November at 15:55 and will look at how the GCC digital infrastructure community fairs when it comes to gender diversity and equality in the workplace.
UAE Regional Hub: Successes & Challenges will take place on Day 2, 22nd November at 14:00. The UAE has long been the regional hub for data centre development and Zenab will moderate this panel as it looks at what the UAE owes its success to and what lessons have been learned along the way. Joe McCaffrey, CEO of Duke McCaffrey, and Alistair Davis, UAE Director at Black & White Engineering will also feature on the panel.
Zenab is a customer-centric marketing strategist with over a decade of experience in the data centre sector, specialising in activations, pipeline and revenue growth and process optimisation. Before launching her own Advisory services, Zenab was leading marketing for Middle East & Africa for Vertiv. Under Zenab’s leadership, Vertiv was able to significantly strengthen their brand equity, channel engagement and saw YoY growth in pipeline and revenue from marketing. She now advises a variety of clients from colocation and OEM suppliers to Quantum computing start-ups on their marketing strategy to target key accounts across hyperscalers, finance, telecom key decision maker zones such as London, Amsterdam, and Singapore.
Outside of work, Zenab (aka Zee) enjoys the outdoors, she is an avid scuba diver, off-roader and recently a proud member of the padel addicts club.
