We are excited to announce that Qusay Abu Abed MENA Regional Sales Manager at Danfoss is a Speaker for Touchdown Middle East 2023! Qusay will feature on the panel Solar in the desert: Renewable Power Investigation, which will take place on Day 2 of the conference, 22nd November, at 11:35am.
This panel will look at the current efforts, across the GCC, being adopted to allow for a more environmentally sustainable data centre market, and whether these efforts are commercially and technically viable.
Qusay is a Danfoss MENA Regional Sales Manager, in charge of data centre solutions in the region. With over a decade of experience, he has navigated leadership roles in engineering and sales management across diverse markets including data centres, hospitality, and healthcare within the Middle East and Africa.
A driving force for Qusay lies in addressing environmental challenges, leading him to seek accreditation from the US Green Building Council with LEED certification and attain the Certified Energy Manager title from the Association of Energy Engineers. Over the past five years, Qusay has been heavily involved in pioneering and supporting the future of decarbonization in Mission Critical applications across the region, working towards sustainable and eco-friendly solutions in these critical sectors.
Before joining Danfoss in 2022, Qusay worked with prominent companies such as ARANER and Trane. He has a background in Mechanical Engineering, holding a Master of Science degree from Hashemite University. Beyond his professional pursuits, Qusay holds a passion for tennis. His dedication and skill in the sport led him to secure victories in two local tournaments in KSA. He continues to channel his enthusiasm for tennis, always seeking new challenges and victories on the court.
