We are excited to announce that Alban Hohmann Schauly, Data Centre Manager – Africa & Middle East at Caterpillar Electric Power is a Speaker for Touchdown Middle East 2023! Alban will present a keynote session, Supporting Sustainable Data Centre Growth in the GCC, taking place on Day 2 of the conference, 22nd November at 12:10.
This keynote will look at the energy trends and technologies that will support sustainable data centre growth in the GCC over the short, medium and long term, while also touching on the specific solutions and expertise Caterpillar has to help data centres in the region.
Alban is responsible for Caterpillar Data Centre Business for the Africa & Middle East region.
He has more than 13 years of Electric Power industry experience covering full range of solutions including Gensets, Renewables and Hybrid Systems. Starting his career in Europe working for a Fortune 100 IT company covering their Data Centre & Storage product range, Alban spent the last 10 years based in the Middle East. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons.) in Engineering & Management from Coventry University, UK and a Master in Internal Business (MIB) from Grenoble Ecole de Management, France.
