We are excited to announce that Elham Al Moosawi, Global Business Client Partnership Management at Batelco, part of the Beyon Group, is a Speaker for Touchdown Middle East 2023! Elham will feature on the panel, eSports in the Gulf: Is the GCC ready for cloud gaming? which will take place on Day 2, 22nd November, at 09:50.
This panel will look at how eSports and online gaming already have a strong presence in the region. Is there sufficient infrastructure ready for the big gaming publishers or is this an area the region needs to push?
Elham has been working in the telecommunications industry across the past fifteen years. Having worked in both the incumbent operator in Bahrain as well as a startup telecoms company, she got the opportunity to go through variety of roles in the telecoms field, ranging from technical roles in service delivery, operations, and regulatory all the way to wholesale and carrier management roles. Elham has been holding a commercial role within Batelco’s Global Business Team for the past five years. Elham’s dedication and success in her role gave her the opportunity to participate in and win the Chairman Award for Batelco in 2021. Elham was involved in several key projects to deploy challenging telecoms solutions crossing difficult countries to serve the military sector. Elham was also awarded the best innovative project in 2022 Innovation hackathon held by BRINC, for designing a fully digital portable telecoms shop, which has been implemented and launched by Batelco in 2023.
