Amjad El Nayal is telecoms and technology leader based in Bahrain, currently serving as the Manager of Technology at the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority. With 19 years in the telecommunications industry, he oversees wireless technologies, national fiber networks, satellite communication, and emerging innovations like AI and Industrial IoT. Amjad has held roles in mobile network engineering, business development, product marketing, consumer affairs, spectrum management and technology adoption. He has worked with governments, regulators and global industry to spearhead 5G/6G, AI, IoT, satellite and cloud adoption, with a proven record of shaping policy, fostering ecosystems and leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver impactful outcomes across regulatory operations and commercial domains.
