Jas Shoker is a senior technology and digital infrastructure lawyer at Simmons & Simmons based in the UAE. Since relocating to the Middle East in 2019, Jas has developed his practice advising global technology companies, investors, and developers on complex digital infrastructure projects. Jas regularly advises on the full lifecycle of subsea cable projects, including joint build and consortium arrangements, supply and landing party agreements. He also has extensive experience supporting the development, financing, and operation of hyperscale and enterprise data centres across the GCC. In addition, he advises clients on broader technology transactions and regulatory issues, including telecoms licensing, cloud and AI.
