We are excited to announce that Anna Klaft, Chairwoman of the German Datacenter Association is a Speaker for Touchdown Middle East 2023! Anna will feature on the panel A European perspective on data centre policy: what is the best way forward? taking place on Day 1 of the conference, 21st November at 14:30.
This panel will be chaired by Stijn Grove, Initiator of Kickstart Europe and Managing Director of the Dutch Data Center Association and will look at how the GCC data centre market compares to its well-established European counterparts, and the latest updates from the region. Sean Christie, UAE Projects Director for Datalec Precision Installations, and Natascha Gerardts, Partner at Eversheds Sutherland will also feature on the panel.
Anna Klaft is Chairwoman of the German Datacenter Association (GDA). Among its members, GDA unites all players in the data center ecosystem. The association represents data center operators with their special concerns and interests in politics, society and the media. GDA’s goal is to sustainably improve the framework conditions for the operation of data centers in Germany, and also in particular to further advance the digitisation of Germany and achieve the overarching goal of climate neutrality by 2030.
