Islam Salim is an accomplished ICT and telecom professional with over 18 years of experience driving innovation, digital transformation, and strategic growth across the region. He holds a B.Sc. in Electronics and Communications Engineering and a Leadership Certification from eCornell University, USA.
In his current role as Director of Enterprise Products at Batelco Bahrain, Islam oversees all core and adjacent enterprise services, including the data center portfolio, guiding the evolution of next-generation solutions that empower businesses and support national digital objectives.
Throughout his career, Islam has successfully led the development, deployment, and commercialization of complex transformation programs and digital product portfolios spanning data centers, IoT, cloud and XaaS, smart cities, sustainability, and data analytics.
Driven by a passion for innovation and customer experience, Islam continues to push the boundaries of technology adoption, aiming to deliver sustainable value and shape the future of digital connectivity in Bahrain and the region.
