Habib Saeed is a UK-qualified lawyer and Senior Associate at Squire Patton Boggs, based in Dubai, where he leads the firm’s Data Protection, Cybersecurity and AI practice for the Middle East. With over nine years of experience in data protection, cybersecurity and employment regulation, and more than five years advising across the GCC, Habib supports multinational and regional clients on high-value mandates spanning data governance, breach response and cross-border compliance.
Recognised by Legal 500 as a “Leading Associate” and by Chambers & Partners as an “Associate to Watch”, Habib advises on the practical application of evolving data protection laws in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Egypt, helping clients navigate complex regulatory frameworks while aligning with international standards. His experience extends to advising on AI governance frameworks, data localisation requirements and the intersection between privacy, technology and workforce regulation.
