Christopher will join our panel ‘A data sovereignty and regulations deep-dive: What do we need to know?’ taking place on Day 1 of the conference, 26th November at 12:40.
This panel will look at the complex regulatory landscape that GCC data centre owners and operators must navigate. Representatives from GCC law firms will come together to share their findings and insights into the future of data laws across the GCC.
Chris is a Senior Associate in the Firm’s Construction and Real Estate department, with a focus on construction disputes. Chris acts for a number of employers, contractors and subcontractors in a range of dispute resolution fora, in particular arbitration, mediation, the Qatar International Court and in the local state courts. He also has a wide experience in handling matters in front of the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority and Qatar Free Zones Authority, which have a growing interest in hosting data centres in their jurisdiction. Christopher is admitted to practice in England and Wales
