Takwa will feature on our panel Women in infrastructure: A GCC Review<\/em><\/strong> taking place on Day 1 of the conference, 21st<\/sup> November at 15:55.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This panel will look his panel will look at the current state of gender diversity in the GCC and the digital infrastructure workplace.<\/p>\n

Takwa Dawdi is a highly dedicated Electrical Engineer with a strong passion for critical infrastructure design, digital engineering, and sustainability solutions. Her impressive career trajectory has seen her promoted to the role of Senior Electrical Engineer at RED Engineering, a mere three years after embarking on her career in the construction industry. Takwa has a track record of successful leadership and technical expertise across various MEP and Data Centre projects within the Middle East, Europe, and APAC regions. She brings with her a wealth of experience in electrical design and construction. Having won the title of \u201cYoung Engineer of the Year\u201d at the ITP Media MEP Awards 2023, Takwa is an up-and-coming individual whose work, skill set, and personality point to a big future in the MEP sector.<\/p>\n

\"\"Beyond her technical role, Takwa is particularly passionate about women in construction and outreach initiatives to address the gender gap in the industry. She is the DXB lead for the Women in RED (WiRED) initiative, under the umbrella of the IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) committee formed to drive initiatives on diversity and inclusion at RED Engineering.<\/p>\n
