Habib Saeed is a UK-qualified lawyer and Senior Associate at Squire Patton Boggs, based in Dubai, where he leads the firm\u2019s Data Protection, Cybersecurity and AI practice for the Middle East. With over nine years of experience in data protection, cybersecurity and employment regulation, and more than five years advising across the GCC, Habib supports multinational and regional clients on high-value mandates spanning data governance, breach response and cross-border compliance.<\/p>\n

Recognised by Legal 500 as a \u201cLeading Associate\u201d and by Chambers & Partners as an \u201cAssociate to Watch\u201d, Habib advises on the practical application of evolving data protection laws in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Egypt, helping clients navigate complex regulatory frameworks while aligning with international standards. His experience extends to advising on AI governance frameworks, data localisation requirements and the intersection between privacy, technology and workforce regulation. His work sits at the intersection of regulation, technology and strategy, helping organisations in the Middle East manage legal risk while enabling innovation.<\/p>\n

Habib regularly speaks at major international conferences, including Cyber Runway (the UK\u2019s largest cyber accelerator, supported by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology), the Global Data Privacy, Cyber Security and GRC ConfEx, and the upcoming 17th China International Compliance Summit (2025) and World Lawyers Forum \u2013 GRC and Cyber Risk Summit (2026).
