With more than 30 years\u2019 experience across telecommunications, data centres, managed services, and cloud operations throughout Europe, Gary has earned a reputation as a pragmatic, action-oriented leader who believes \u201cthere\u2019s been enough talk, real change only comes through doing.\u201d<\/p>\n
Under his leadership, Keppel DC REIT Ireland has delivered Ireland\u2019s first colocation data-centre renewable Power Purchase Agreement, achieved LEED O&M Gold certification through live-site retrofits, and advanced AI-driven cooling strategies to reduce energy intensity. The company is now moving five years ahead of the industry curve, targeting hourly renewable-power matching and providing full transparency of renewable energy use through client-accessible software tools.<\/p>\n
A regular industry voice, Gary has spoken at numerous international events \u2014 most recently at Imperial College London, the UK and Europe\u2019s leading university, on \u201cCareers with Consequences: AI and Sustainability.\u201d He also serves on the Executive Council of Digital Infrastructure Ireland, helping to shape national strategy around data, energy, and sustainability.<\/p>\n
Before joining Keppel, Gary held senior management roles with TeleCity and SunGard Availability Services, leading major European data-centre integrations, business continuity, and consulting programmes.<\/p>\n
