We are excited to announce that Marwa Aleskafi<\/a>, Director \u2013 Entrepreneurship, Technology and Strategic Initiatives from Tamkeen\u00a0<\/strong>will be joining Touchdown Middle East 2024 as a speaker! Marwa will join our panel \u2018A roundtable talk: Women shaping the digital landscape\u2019 <\/strong>taking place on Day 1 <\/strong>of the conference, 26th<\/sup> November<\/strong> at 16:15.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

This roundtable discussion will dig into how the digital infrastructure community is fairing and what further measures can be taken to reach gender equity.<\/p>\n

Marwa is a dynamic leader with 14+ years of experience in economic development projects, startup ideation, incubation, and acceleration programs, mentoring startups, investment management, expanding startup ecosystems regionally and the development of tech talent. Expertise in the development, leadership and operation of open innovation programs that upskill corporations and move them up the innovation value chain through targeted innovation coaching, technology and startup collaborations, and proof of concept development.
\nAdept in leading accelerator program across geographies and teams to structure programs, source deal flow, close investments and localize operations. Well Versed in coaching technology scaleups. Currently spearheading the deployment of Bahrain’s open innovation initiatives, flagship startup competition, and the establishment of world-class tech academies and coding schools and driving Artificial Intelligence upskilling and reskilling across the private sector.<\/p>\n\n\t
