This panel will look at the complex regulatory landscape that GCC data centre owners and operators must navigate. Representatives from GCC law firms will come together to share their findings and insights into the future of data laws across the GCC.<\/p>\n

Zil has recently joined our Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice in Dubai. Previously, Zil worked with a leading regional law firm in Saudi Arabia for about five years where he gained extensive experience advising clients on data protection related issues including in the context of regulated sectors such as telecoms, financial services, critical national infrastructure sector and Saudi government entities. More generally, Zil specializes in digital transformations, data privacy compliance, data monetization, data centres and cloud computing, Internet of Things, satellite communications, telecoms licensing, regulatory and infrastructure projects, and cybersecurity. He also holds an LLM from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.<\/p>\n\n\t
