Zil will feature the panel <em><strong>Launch: GDCA GCC Data Sovereignty and Data Flow Report\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>which\u00a0will take\u00a0place on<strong>\u00a0Day 1, 21<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0November at 16:30.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This session will feature the\u00a0launch of the Gulf Data Association\u2019s (GDCA) report on data sovereignty and data flow for the GCC. Representatives from law firms from across the GCC will feature on this panel to share their findings and to discuss the future of data laws in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Zil\u00a0recently joined as an Associate at\u00a0Pinsent Masons LLP in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice in Dubai. Previously, Zil worked with a leading law firm in Saudi Arabia for about five years where he gained extensive experience in the TMT space. Zil specializes in\u00a0data centres, cloud computing,\u00a0data protection, cybersecurity, telecoms, Internet of Things, satellite communications, and IT contracting.
