GCC Data Sovereignty and Data Flow Report <\/em><\/strong>which will take<\/strong> place on\u00a0Day 1, 21st<\/sup> November at 16:30. <\/strong>This session will feature the\u00a0launch of the Gulf Data Association\u2019s (GDCA) report on data sovereignty and data flow for the GCC. Representatives from law firms from across the GCC will feature on this panel to share their findings and to discuss the future of data laws in the region.<\/p>\n

Bahrain\u2019s new digital age <\/em><\/strong>which will take<\/strong> place on\u00a0Day 2, 22nd<\/sup> November at 15:20<\/strong>. The panel will look at how developments in Bahrain, such as new subsea cable investment, a regulated, open telecoms market, and an abundance of new talent in the ecosystem, position Bahrain to take the lead for innovation and digital infrastructure growth in the GCC market.<\/p>\n

Gareth advises on commercial dispute resolution, regulatory and competition matters, international arbitrations and corporate restructuring with a particular focus on the Sports, Financial Services and TMT sectors. Gareth has represented regulators, operators and ICT companies in a broad range of disputes relating to the communications sector, including in relation to IRU Agreements, Landing Party Agreements, JV Agreements and regulatory compliance. Gareth has an international practice having spent over 10 years working in our Middle East offices and has been consistently ranked in Global directories for his arbitration and disputes work.<\/p>\n\n\t
